GVMA 2018 Holiday Challenge

October 28, 2018

Is holiday weight gain a myth or reality? Depending on the media source you read publications list the average weight gain over the holiday season as little as 1.3lbs and as large as 10lbs.  Regardless of how much weight people statistically do or don't gain Gallatin Valley Martial Arts wants to inspire and support its students in gaining fitness this year, not pounds.

Our Holiday Challenge is quite different then the 60 day summer challenge we run each spring. Our goal is to finish 2018 strong and start 2019 off right. We base the challenge around staying fit through the holidays but its also filled with weekly mini challenges along the way to get our students out of their comfort zone. No one ever experiences greatness in their comfort zone.

Challenges include running the Huffing for Stuffing 5k on Thanksgiving, physical challenges, goal planning challenges and more. Support includes nutritional counseling, weight tracking, accountability and inspiration. The Holiday Challenge is only for current GVMA members. If your not currently a member please contact us to set up your introductory lesson to get you started on your journey. We love beginners and new students!
